Hudson Guild Adult Education Program

Hudson Guilds offers diverse programs to people living in the Chelsea, New York neighborhood. I partnered with the Hudson Guild and El Museo del Barrio to construct a curriculum that allowed participants to explore the significance of their cultural heritage. Participants, mostly new immigrants, struggled with how to identify in a new American landscape. Participating in the series provided residents with the opportunity to voice their frustrations through projects I created to specifically address their concerns over the course of a year.  The Hudson Guild experienced increased investment and attendance as a result of the project series.
